Night Exposures
These were buildings around the hotel taken with shutter speeds of 10-14 seconds, allowing light to streak off of the low clouds in the sky behind the buildings.
Phone Booth Study
Each of these pictures taken at dusk with shutter speed around 10 seconds. Thus few people and only light trails from cars.
Palace Gardens at Sundown
Another spot for tranquility. The gardens around London are amazing, and are quite a contrast to the seemingly impossible amount of new construction. Every square inch of London seems to be an opportunity for a new highrise. The new Swiss RE building, which looks like a huge bullet sitting on end, is spectacular... if you like big, glass, bullet-looking buildings.
Scenes from Hyde Park
My Hotel, the Royal Lancaster is at the Lancaster Gate to Hyde Park. Has been nice to be able to walk in the park and breath away from the business of London.
